The Problem:

Registered organ donor or not, making sure your loved ones are aware of your wishes for your organs once you die is really important as they essentially have the final say in what happens to them (even if the new ‘opt out’ scheme is put in place).

Almost 90% of families agree to organ donation if they know their relative’s decision, but this falls to less than 50% if they haven’t had the conversation about organ donation.

The solution:

In order to get people talking about this sometimes tender topic we designed a valentines day chocolate box that gets people taking to their nearest and dearest about organ donation.

The packaging initially looks inconspicuous, like any other Valentines day chocolate box, but once opened it contains cues for people to talk about organ donation in a relaxed way.
